Belgian Waffles in Belgium

One of my favorite things while traveling is being able to cross off another one of my bucket list foods. When I was in Brussles, I made it a point to make sure I got to try a Belgian waffle.

I happened to find the waffle shop when I was wandering around the city and decided to jump in line to get a waffle. I waited in line for about 45 minutes, but I was okay with waiting because I didn't have a ton of plans for the day other than wandering around the city, looking for fun things to do. When I finally got my waffle, like the tourist I was, I walked to Manneken Pis and took a picture before I even took a bite. What's more touristy than that? The waffle wasn't bad, but I don't think it was worth the 45 minute wait

and the price I paid for it, but it's the

experience that matters the most!

Overall, I was glad I got to experience the Belgian waffle in Belgium. If you are willing to wait in line for a while to get one, then do it! It always feels nice to check another food off the good old bucket list!
